Ceremonies for the Grand River
Each month we hold traditional Anishinaabe ceremonies to speak, sing and pray to the water. Like the Grand River Water Walk, these ceremonies are Indigenous-led, with support from all Nations.
The ceremonies are held once per month on a Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. at 650 Otterbein Road in Kitchener. Please visit our Facebook page to confirm the date each month. We meet year-round; all are invited to participate. Please wear appropriate ceremonial regalia as your spirit calls, as well as sturdy footwear. Ceremonial tobacco, drums, and shakers are also suggested.
