

Credit River Water Walk
2026 dates will be announced soon
In the spring of 2026, walkers and helpers will journey along the Credit River to honour Nibi (water) and connect all peoples to Creation. The route will proceed along the west side of the River, from her mouth at Lake Ontario in Port Credit to her headwaters in Orangeville. Monthly Ceremonies
Everyone is welcome to participate in traditional Anishinaabe ceremonies to honour the Spirit of Nibi along the banks of the Credit River. These events are held each month at 8:00 a.m. in Willow Park Ecology Parking in Norval, Ontario. See the Credit River Water Walk's ceremonies webpage for details.
